“ummmmm if u say that trans men and cis men have different life and gender experiences ur basically saying trans men aren’t real men so rly ur the transphobic one” that’s a lot of words for “i think trans men should have to neglect their unique needs in order to assimilate as much as possible into cis manhood so i don’t have to think for more than two seconds abt what i could be doing to unpack my cisnormative views of gender or the ways i should be offering my support to trans men.
as someone who used to consider themselves a cis man cis manhood sucks for everyone including cis men
most cis men are afraid of even trying on a dress, and when they do it’s always as a joke like the idea of a man wearing a dress is in of itself hilarious
yep! patriarchal ideas of cis manhood are a prison that everyone, including cis men, deserve to be free from.
